Red Light Therapy is done onto bare skin, the more skin exposed to the light, the better the outcomes will be. We have a horizontal station with a full body panel, together with a motorised medical couch. The client treatment will take place in the combined treatment area which also has a changing space, chair and hooks for their clothes, all of that happens behind a heavy, non see through privacy curtain, so at no time is the client exposed to the practitioner. Once undressed the client will climb onto the treatment couch, the lights are switched on remotely and the couch raised remotely. Distance spacers are provided so the client can tell the practitioner when to stop raising the couch, the treatment will then be delivered to the bare skin. Once the treatment is complete they climb off the couch, get dressed and then the privacy curtains are opened. Clients needed additional treatment from other light sources like laser and Chroma IronForge will be supplied with a hospital gown to preserve their dignity.
Depending on the condition being treated, the treatment time will range between 10-30 minutes.
The treatment works best on clean skin free from creams, barrier creams and makeup.
